What exactly is Black History Month? Black History Month is an annual observance originating in the United States, where it is also known as African-American History Month. It has received official recognition from governments in the United States and Canada, and more recently has been observed in Ireland and the United Kingdom.
At The Black Cake Company we are a proud Black and woman owned business, originating from the Caribbean and carrying our roots, culture, and heritage to the United States.
This month we will be remembering important people and events in the history of the African diaspora while celebrating our present and future, and we hope that you enjoy this exciting storytelling journey!
Now, how are we doing this, you might ask. Do you remember Angel Answers? We are relaunching this amazing concept as a mini-series and bringing new little episodes to you bi-monthly (every other week) starting tonight!
We will briefly address topics that are important to us and hopefully resonate with you! We look forward to your feedback.
We also are encouraged by the celebration of love that exists as a specific celebration over the next 2 weeks. With that in mind, we have a special promotion for Valentine's Day that you can take advantage of.... we know it's a lot!
So don't miss our emails, our blogs, and all our social media posts as we get through this exciting month of celebrating Black History, Love and You!
