Things to Know

Did you know that September 20th is National Rum Punch Day?
“One of sour, two of sweet, three of strong and four of weak.”
is the rhyme Bajan's use to mix a rum punch.
When put to a recipe it looks something like this:
One-part sour: 1 cup Fresh lime juice
Two parts sweet: 2 cups sugar or simple syrup
Three parts strong: usually a good, dark rum (Mount Gay, or Cockspur because we Bajan)
Four parts weak: 4 cups water,
Topped with 4 dashes of Angostura bitters and some nutmeg
Serve in a tall glass with ice and picture yourself on a tropical beach!!
